For adults
Lantore for adults
Lantore also supports adults who want to look out for themselves online, and young people who turn 18.
Protect yourself
Protect yourself online: alerts only you can see, on your own PC. Nobody else can read them. Remove it any time.
- You set it up for yourself, on your own PC, and accept a plain notice there before it starts.
- Alerts appear only on your PC, written for you. They are not shown on any website, and nobody else is notified.
- The icon is shown on the PC, and you can uninstall Lantore whenever you like, without a code.
Older teens, and turning 18
- A parent or guardian can choose that a teen aged 13 to 17 sees their own alerts only, on their own device. The parent cannot read them, can see that Lantore is running, and can still remove it with their code. The teen is told straight away.
- When a young person turns 18, the parent's access ends, and they can choose to continue in their own account.
Not for monitoring other adults
No. Lantore is for children whose parent or guardian sets it up openly, and for adults who choose to protect themselves. It is not for monitoring another adult: the person has to accept a notice on their own PC, an icon is shown on the PC, and the alerts go only to them.
